This is the time that Amsterdam celebrates Queer and Pride!

Who better to celebrate with than my favorite comic character Minnie? (Mijntje, in Dutch)

I’ve been drawing her adventures since 2004 for magazine Zij aan Zij, and lately also StripGlossy.

I'm also celebrating a Minnie-spin-off: since a year, Minnie and Mia have entered into polyamorous relationship with Zina. Zina is a sex worker (who mainly identifies as a cat) and that's why sex worker platform Red Insight has been kind enough to feature some of my Zina comics, and even added a nice article about me as Sex Worker Ally:

I'm proud of this. My Minnie comic has always aimed to break down prejudice, poke fun at the status quo and rally against injustices. After drawing the comic for almost two decades, I felt I had exhausted most of the issues Minnie and Mia are faced with as a gay couple. With Zina in the mix, I can address a whole new spectrum, from coming out as being in a polyamorous relationship to advocating sex worker rights. Sex work = work, and should have all the legal and social benefits of other jobs.
