Last weekend the Tina Festival took place and thousands of fans flocked to the special comic artists tent where my colleagues and I were signing. It was a blast!
I signed sooo many names! I wrote them all down here:
342 of them!
I made an analysis: the most frequent names were Eva, Saar and Emma (all three 5 times). The longest name was Anne-Sophie and the shortest Bo. A fair amount of names was new to me, the most remarkable being Nevaeh - which is Heaven written backwards.
And there were TWO Kiki’s!
I put my analysis in this short time-lapse video:
It wasn’t just my comic character Kiki that got the spotlight: my neighbour Dorith Graef was signing Marrie & Merrie cards, the comic we make about a girl and her cranky horse and which we came up with exactly one year ago, when we met at last year’s Tina Festival.
I was pretty beat after two days - but I feel very energized as well. I signed so much my fingernail actually eroded! And I got a lovely Kiki-button made especially for me by Tina-top-artist Jan Vriends:
It was a wonderful weekend - I’m already looking forward to next year!
Well that's very cool!
Leuke blog!!!! Leest lekker weg... leuk dat je dat zo bijhoud met al die namen!
