Last september, I posted about my frozen shoulder. Four months on, people ask me how things stand. Well, it’s still frozen, I can’t lift or turn my left arm much - but there is also some amazing progression.
Disclaimer: I’m not sponsored in any way by the pharmaceutical industry. For comedic purposes, there are some exaggerations in this comic - but not many. This is just my story. For good advice on HRT, visit a knowledgeable doctor.
There’s much more to be said about Hormone Replacement Therapy, for instance about its long-term effects (the advice is not to use it longer than five years) - and I will probably go into more of it in a later comic.
But for now I just want to say: what a relief!!!
I've been on it for 20 years-ish...
I went off it for 3 months late last year. Lost energy, had headaches, felt blahh! Back on it. Back to normal. No problems with breasts or uterus to date...
A great advice I got for whenever someone needs medication is to help it and your body work together. A former supervisor of mine had random bursts of neck pain (dropped a canoe on his head while young) so whenever it happened, he would take a pill, go to his office, turn off the light and close the door. He was gone for 30 minutes and the would come out fresh and new.
Most of us just do the popeye spinach effect and keep going so let’s remember to take a moment to rest.
Glad you are feeling better!
