Oh my gosh, I couldn’t stop laughing. Especially the “Mother Board”. You’re fortunate that your mother understands her situation. We have been taking care of my mother for four years now and (understandably) refuses to leave her home. Thank goodness for my husband and his sense of humor. Keeps us going!
I love your comics about your situation! It's so good that we can share these things! It's felt pretty claustrophobic over the past years at times. I think I can finally trust that that has changed.
SOOO relatable!! My mum moved to a care home at the end of January and I am still having those moments of worry, then realising I don't have to.... will find the off button one day!
The "what happens next" is always the nerve whacking part. When caring for elders, things always seem to change - though I guess that can be said about life in general...

Oh boy. Yes.
What happens next...?

Aah, congrats! You'll get there!
Must be nerve wracking. Big hug to you.
Thank you! Good reminder to enjoy those moments when everything is going well with our elders.
Beautiful and very true ...
We've got that alarm now in America... I am very glad to hear yours has shut off!
Lets hope your alarm won't outlast four years... it's heard the world over; rooting for you!!!

I can't hear the alarms over my tinnitus
So tinnitus is good for something!
