My father-in-law moved in with us in 2021 after being hospitalized for congestive heart failure. Since then, my job has been to care for him, all day, every day. I started with a new doctor last year, and her nurse wrote in my medical records that I was "unemployed." My doctor changed it to "caregiver." My doctor rocks. 😎 This is a wonderful piece, and you're right, if all of us took care of one human and one cat, we'd all be cared for (except in my case, it's my fil's Yorkie I care for, along with all the other pets). You're doing important work, never forget that!
